Bella VidaAbout

About Bella Vida

Bella Vida is a gated community of 441 single-family homes in Cape Coral, built around a clubhouse / community center. Day to day, the nearest golf course, Del Tura Golf & Country Club, is about 0.9 miles straight-line from the community's center; the nearest library, North Fort Myers Public Library, is about 3.2 miles away; the nearest hospital, ShorePoint Health, about 2 miles.

Amenities — amenities owned by the Bella Vida at Entrada Homeowners' Association (list from association and market materials; confirm current amenities with the association) — include a clubhouse / community center, a resort-style pool, a fitness center, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts, a sand volleyball court and a soccer field, a playground and picnic / BBQ areas, a library, a dog park, lakes and preserve areas, behind a gated entry.

On paper, the community sits in evacuation zone D. The average assessed just value across its 478 residential parcels was $255,489 in the county's 2026 roll.

Bella Vida sits in north Cape Coral off the Del Prado Boulevard extension, and like several of the Cape's master-planned gated communities it comes with a two-part cost structure a buyer should map before falling for the amenity deck. This is a Community Development District community: a Bella Vida CDD assessment finances the roads, drainage and shared infrastructure and appears as a recurring non-ad-valorem line on the annual tax bill, on top of the homeowners' dues and the City of Cape Coral millage. The district keeps its own site at bellavidacdd.org because it is a separate governing layer — in fact the CDD site is the only live official domain for the community, since an older HOA web address no longer resolves and the association itself (Bella Vida at Entrada Homeowners' Association, a Florida non-profit filed in 2004) runs through the management firm Home Encounter rather than a public-facing site.

The amenities are the all-ages, family-oriented kind, owned by the association: a clubhouse and community center, a resort-style pool, a fitness center, tennis, pickleball and basketball, a sand volleyball court and a soccer field, a playground, picnic and barbecue areas, a library and a dog park, set among lakes and preserve tracts behind the gate. There is no golf and no age restriction here; the mix is built for households rather than a country-club membership.

A couple of practical notes. County records place Bella Vida in evacuation Zone D with a storm-surge Zone 4 designation — a comparatively lower-exposure band — inside the City of Cape Coral for jurisdiction, millage and fire protection. The builder history is genuinely muddy: listings credit both Lennar and D.R. Horton, so treat the builder as unconfirmed and check the individual home's permit record. And mind the name — 'Bella Vida at Entrada' carries the historic Entrada tract name but is a distinct, self-governed community, not the same as D.R. Horton's nearby 'Village at Entrada.' Confirm current dues, the CDD assessment, amenity access and any rules with the association and the district; this is an independent, records-based starting point, not affiliated with the HOA, the CDD or any builder.

By the numbers, county and census records finish the picture: the homes were built largely between 2006 and 2017, the average just (market) value runs near $255,000 — among the more attainable of the Cape's gated communities — and the surrounding census tract reports a median household income of roughly $67,000. It is a north-Cape location: the nearest Gulf beach access is about 18 miles away and Southwest Florida International Airport roughly 16, so the draw here is value and amenities rather than waterfront or beach convenience.
