About Entrada

Entrada is a gated community of 721 single-family homes in Cape Coral. Day to day, the nearest golf course, Sabal Springs Golf & Racquett Club, is about 1.1 miles straight-line from the community's center; the nearest library, North Fort Myers Public Library, is about 2.6 miles away; the nearest hospital, ShorePoint Health, about 1.9 miles.

Amenities — amenities owned by the Village at Entrada Homeowners Association (list compiled from D.R. Horton and community materials; confirm current amenities with the association) — include a community amenity center, a resort-style swimming pool with a children's splash pad, tennis courts, pickleball courts, a gated entry.

On paper, the community sits in evacuation zone D, and most of its mapped flood features (67%) fall in zone X, outside the high-risk flood area. The average assessed just value across its 758 residential parcels was $277,281 in the county's 2026 roll.

The most useful thing to know about Village at Entrada is that "Entrada" is a name that gets used two ways, and only one of them is this HOA. The broader Entrada area in northeast Cape Coral is a master-planned tract that D.R. Horton built out from 2016, and it contains more than one association: the Village at Entrada single-family and villa homes governed by the Village at Entrada Homeowners Association, plus separate condominium enclaves — most notably Isles of Porto Vista — that run their own boards inside the same general area. When a listing says "Entrada," it is worth asking which piece it means, because the fees, the rules, and the amenities are not shared across all of them.

This guide covers the Village at Entrada HOA: roughly 720 homes on the county's neighborhood map, a mix of single-family houses and attached villas, gated, and built around a community amenity center rather than a golf club or a canal. That last point matters in Cape Coral, where buyers often assume "Cape Coral" means Gulf-access water. Entrada is an inland community in the northeast of the city, off Del Prado Boulevard North — the water here is lakes and preserve, not boat slips. The recreation is a resort-style pool with a children's splash pad, tennis and pickleball, and the amenity center; the appeal is a newer, family-oriented neighborhood at a more approachable price point than the waterfront communities to the south and west.

The governance detail that should reassure a buyer is that the association has been turned over to the residents. That is not automatic in a D.R. Horton community built this recently; national builders often keep control of the board through buildout. But the state corporate record tells a clear story here: the Village at Entrada Homeowners Association is active, the officers named in its most recent annual report are individual homeowners living at addresses inside the community rather than builder employees at a corporate post-office box, and the association's registered agent is an owner-side community-association attorney. The principal address on file is the community clubhouse. In plain terms, the people running the association are the people who live there.

A few things this guide deliberately does not claim. We do not list a public HOA phone line or a resident portal, because we could not confirm current ones from an official source — treat those as items to verify with the association directly. And because the automated county data counts residential parcels within the mapped boundary, the parcel figure you see may run slightly above the roughly 720 homes the community is usually described as having, since it captures platted lots and common parcels alongside finished houses. Everything below — evacuation and flood exposure, who provides water and power, trash days, the nearest schools and hospitals — is pulled from county and utility sources and stamped with where it came from.
